Definition of "Ship Now" list.
"Ship Now" plants are plants that are ready for immediate shipment. Payment for the plants and shipping must be made via Paypal. I will have plants inspected regularly for a phytosanitary certificate (this allows me to take plants into the USA for shipping) so I will be able to ship plants twice a week during this period. As soon as payment is made I will ship plants on the following Monday (for the USA) & Tuesday (for Canada).
"Ship Now" procedure:
#1 - you select the plants you want from the "Ship Now" list and email me with the list.
#2 - I confirm that the plants are available and invoice you for the cost of the plants and shipping.
#3 - If you wish to proceed, you pay for your order via PayPal.
#4 - When I have confirmation from PayPal that the invoice has been paid I will ship the plants the following week (as long as it is during the shipping period.
#5 - On the day I ship the plants I willl email you to let you know they are on their way and give you the tracking number.
#6 - For Canadian customers - I ship through Canada Post Express which allows you to have your plants in three days.
#7 - For U.S.A. customers - I will take the plants into the U.S.A. and ship them through your United States Postal Service 'Priority Post' which gets the plants to you in two days (the post office declares 'to most locations'). Orders to Alaska will take longer but usually get there in three to four days.

All those that have already asked to be emailed when I post the list will be notified. If you haven't already contacted me and you would like me to email you when I post the 'Ship Now List', just send me an email by clicking this link --> email me
As explained previously, I am NOT ACCEPTING custom propagated orders. I will be posting the next 'Ship Now List' at the end of August for September/October shipping.
I will make sure plants showcased in articles about Holt Geraniums in the Colorado Homes & Lifestyles Magazine, Country Gardens Magazine & Coastal Grower WILL BE AVAILABLE on the 'SHIP NOW' list.

My site is fully printable but to protect my pictures from being used by other businesses without permission, there are registered embedded watermarks on each of them.
Although I call my mail-order company 'Holt Geraniums', I am really cultivating pelargoniums. To give a brief explanation, geraniums are the hardy, perennial outdoor members of the geraniaceae family. The plants that you buy at retail outlets each year, and the ones you see mass planted and called 'bedding geraniums', are really pelargoniums. There is a detailed breakdown on the family and where zonals, regals, angels, stellars, frutetorum, etc. fit in the 'Feature Article' section.

EUROPEAN CUSTOMERS:
There are new regulations with regards to shipping plants to the E.U. (European Union). One of the regulations are that Tomato Ringspot Virus tests must be done on pelargoniums and they cannot be more than fourth generation from virus tested plants. As I renew my stock plants every three years I would get 12 years from virus testing, which seems feasible except that not only do the greenhouse pelargoniums need to be tested but plants on ALL the property must be tested as well - two and a half acres full. The testing is extremely expensive for each sample so I have decided that I will not incur that expense. Therefore, I will no longer ship to countries in the E.U. or any that require tomato ringspot virus testing.
I am hardput to understand why that particular test is required as I do not know of ONE SINGLE country in the E.U. or in fact almost worldwide that does NOT HAVE tomato ringspot virus present in their country... kind of like taking coals to Newcastle if you ask me.
Countries included in the E.U. are:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus (Greek part), Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemborg, Malta, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovania, Sweden & United Kingdom.
